  • ‘I did not fall in love with Dania Shah’; Hakeem Shahzad’s statement about his wife

‘I did not fall in love with Dania Shah’; Hakeem Shahzad’s statement about his wife

Hakeem Muhammad Shahzad has shared the reason behind his marriage to Dania Shah, the ex-wife of the late Pakistani televangelist and politician Aamir Liaquat, in a recent interview.

Known for his history of multiple marriages passing controversial statements, Shahzad is known for his straightforward yet often problematic views. When asked in the interview whether he had fallen in love with Dania, he admitted it was not love that led him to marry her, but rather a sense of responsibility and sympathy.

“This is the fourth question, and you’re only asking about Dania Shah,” he pointed out before responding.

“Did I fall in love with Dania Shah? I’ll be honest with you: no, I didn’t fall in love with her. I’m not that immature to just fall in love like that. Okay?” he said.

He mentioned his past relationships, revealing that he had been married multiple times before, stating, “I was already married. Not once, but three times already. Still, I had the habit of hanging out in parks. I’m telling you straight.”

He shared that the true reason behind his decision to marry Dania was her story, which he first heard from others and later directly from Dania and her mother.

According to Shahzad, “I heard her story, first from others, then from her own mouth, and from her mother. Her mother told me, ‘We need help.’ That’s a very big word. Sympathy was a major factor.”

He emphasised that love is not something that happens just because someone is attractive, saying, “Love doesn’t just happen like that. You see a young girl and fall in love? That’s a joke.”

Shahzad concluded by sharing his perspective on love and respect, stating, “Love is a completely different thing, brother. That’s God-gifted. It’s not even in your control. Let’s say someone tells you to respect someone—why would you, unless you see some quality in them? If they have a quality of life, you’ll automatically respect them.”

VIDEO: Indian fans ‘send’ water bottles for Hania Aamir

Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, who has a huge fan following in India, recently became the subject of a viral meme video created by some of her Indian fans.

The video surfaced after rising tensions between India and Pakistan following a tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. In response to the Indian government’s five-point plan—reportedly including the possibility of revisiting the Indus Waters Treaty signed in 1960—some Indian social media users made a light-hearted meme.

In the video, fans are seen packing water bottles into a box labeled with Hania Aamir’s name and address in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The clip was clearly made in a humorous spirit and was intended as playful content, not meant to be taken seriously.

However, some viewers felt the timing was inappropriate and commented that jokes on sensitive issues should be avoided.

Earlier, Hania Aamir had shared a message of peace in response to the Kashmir tragedy. In an Instagram story, she wrote, “Tragedy anywhere is a tragedy for all of us. My heart is with the innocent lives affected by the recent events. In pain, in grief, and hope—we are one.”

She also added, “When innocent lives are lost, the pain is not theirs alone—it belongs to all of us. No matter where we come from, grief speaks the same language. May we choose humanity, always.”

The water bottle video was just meme content created for entertainment. There is no real shipping involved, as direct delivery to Pakistan is not possible from India, especially with cross-border transit currently suspended due to diplomatic restrictions.

Meanwhile, Hania was said to be working alongside Diljit Dosanjh in the upcoming film Sardaar Ji 3. While the UK schedule has been completed, there are reports that the team might reshoot her scenes with another actress. However, there’s no official statement yet from the filmmakers.

  • ‘News channels called my parents to ask if I’m alive’;  Alizeh Shah slams rumours after Instagram exit

‘News channels called my parents to ask if I’m alive’;  Alizeh Shah slams rumours after Instagram exit

Actor Alizeh Shah has revealed that constant trolling and criticism have taken a serious toll on her emotional and physical health. She has stated that the pressure became so much that she had to step away from social media and distance herself from people around her.

In a detailed Instagram story, she opened up about her struggles, saying, “The trolling, the constant criticism, the negativity — it didn’t just hurt me emotionally. It’s now affecting my physical health. It reached a point where I had no choice but to isolate myself completely — not just from social media, but from everyone around me. I feel broken, exhausted, and overwhelmed in ways I can’t even explain.”

After facing “constant criticism,” the Ehd-e-Wafa actor unfollowed everyone on Instagram and deleted all her posts, leaving behind just two highlights — one about Gaza, and another saying she was not on Snapchat.

She continued: “Even after updating my bio and clearly saying I’m alive, some people still chose to spread rumors. News channels have contacted my parents, asking if I’m dead. Imagine what that does to a family, to a mother’s heart. Please, understand how much this has hurt me and the people I love.”

Alizeh expressed deep uncertainty about her future on social media and television, saying: “Right now, I genuinely don’t know when or if I’ll ever return to Instagram or TV dramas. The pressure became too much. The weight of it has made me physically sick.”

She added a heartfelt plea: “All I ask is for some space… Please stop contacting my family. Please stop making up stories. Please just let me breathe.”

Over the years, Alizeh has often been hounded online by trolls for personal choices, including smoking in her car, cutting her hair short, setting work boundaries, or wearing a tank top.

Recently, she was also involved in a public disagreement with actor Zarnish Khan. In an interview on Voice Over Man, Zarnish said Alizeh would win in a “rudeness competition.” Zarnish later apologised, but Alizeh posted a screenshot of their chat and replied, “It won’t fix the damage you did. I do not forgive you.”

She also claimed that her mother called Zarnish to ask why she made such comments, and Zarnish promised to share the truth in a video. However, according to Alizeh, she later blocked her mother’s number.

Saba Faisal says she refused Indian ad offer weeks before Kashmir attack

Senior actress Saba Faisal revealed on Nida Yasir’s morning show that she was recently offered an advertisement for a well-known Indian brand, but fortunately, she turned it down.

“Tensions between Pakistan and India have increased in recent days, and India is making baseless allegations,” she said.

“Just as the Indian government is accusing us after the incident in Pahalgam, occupied Kashmir, and their artists are supporting their government, we should do the same,” she added.

“We, as Pakistani artists, should support our government and our homeland, and give a clear message in response to the allegations,” she said.

Referring to the recent tension between Pakistan and India, she expressed gratitude that she had refused the Indian advertisement offer two months ago.

“Two months ago, I was offered to work in an Indian advertisement and was initially supportive of the idea,” Saba Faisal revealed.

“I don’t know why I refused the offer at that time, but now I feel it was the right decision,” she shared, adding, “I was ready to work, but then they asked me to audition, and I refused.”

“I’m a senior actress,” she said. “I didn’t have time to audition. So, I directly told the director that I wouldn’t do the advertisement.”

According to Saba Faisal, the director’s assistant was “stunned” after she declined the offer and called her asking “why and how” she refused.

She concluded, “After the recent Pak-India tension, I feel even more confident about my decision. If I had done that ad, I don’t know what people would be saying today.”

A well-known stylist, Zahra Sarfaraz from the Pakistani fashion industry, has made a bold claim that Hussain Ijaz, who recently won the Stylist of the Year award at the Lux Style Awards, allegedly stole her creative work.

Taking to social media, Zahra didn’t hold back. She accused Hussain of submitting her work as his own to the LSA jury. “Not being nominated is fine,” she wrote. “But watching my work represent someone else’s nomination? Now that’s comedy.”

She backed her claim with screenshots and images, calling them “undeniable proof.” She also took a direct shot at the Lux Style Awards jury, saying: “The @luxstylepk jury’s ‘competence’ really said: plagiarize now, apologize never. You didn’t just shoot yourselves in the foot—you blew the whole leg off this year.”

Fans and members of the fashion community are demanding action.

Some comments read: “Glad Zahra Sarfaraz spoke up. She’s always been bold and honest—more people need to be like her.”

Asim and Merub are engaged, but comments about Asim’s past relationship with actress Hania Amir keep resurfacing.

Recently, during a show, Ali Safina joked about Asim and Hania’s past. He asked Merab, “Does Asim ever sing ‘Oh Hania O Dil Jaani’ for you?’” Merub handled the moment with grace, although it became a little awkward and quickly went viral on social media.

“Sometimes the line is crossed, and that is wrong, but I am aware of this fact and face it,” he added.

Asim also shared his approach towards people, saying, “I only talk to those I love; otherwise, I generally keep my distance.”
