  • Fawad Khan’s Bollywood comeback found support from unexpected Indian superstar

Fawad Khan’s Bollywood comeback found support from unexpected Indian superstar

While social media is abuzz with debates over Fawad Khan’s return to Bollywood, one voice from across the border has stood out, and surprisingly, it’s none other than Sunny Deol.

In a recent interview with HT City, the Indian actor and politician responded to a question about Fawad Khan’s reported comeback to Bollywood with a new film. Instead of dodging the delicate subject of cross-border talent collaborations, Sunny delivered a direct and thoughtful reply: “We work for everyone.”

The Gadar star, often linked to patriotic films, adopted a mature viewpoint, stating, “As an artist, I think we should just do our work and not get into anything else.”

This comes at a time when Indian social media platforms are divided between excitement and mixed opinions over Fawad’s return to Indian screens. Some are thrilled to see the Zindagi Gulzar Hai heartthrob grace Bollywood again after nearly a decade, while others view it as controversial.

However, with Sunny Deol, a figure traditionally associated with nationalist cinema, openly insisting that there shouldn’t be any problem working with Pakistani artists, the prevailing narrative may be undergoing a change.

Fawad’s last film appearance in Bollywood was in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil back in 2016. Following the Uri attacks, Pakistani actors encountered an unofficial ban on working in India, resulting in multiple projects being cancelled. Yet here we are in 2025, with a prominent Indian filmmaker casting Fawad in a significant role and receiving support from an Indian actor-politician.

Will this signify a new phase for cross-border cinema, or will the backlash overshadow it before it even starts? Regardless, one thing is certain: art continues to possess the ability to unite.

Police in Bahawalpur have filed a case against 35 people, including famous dancer Mehak Malik, after a controversial mehndi ceremony in Yazman Mandi. The event featured inappropriate dances, loud music, and money showers (wail) , causing a stir in the local community.

According to police reports, the ceremony violated the Loudspeakers and Sound Amplifiers Law, as the noise levels were too high. Additionally, participants threw cash at the dancers, which is seen as an inappropriate act linked to vulgar dances.

Sources say that some of the suspects include government employees, including a police constable. However, their names have not been revealed, and the police are continuing their investigation.

  • DDLJ makes history: London to honour Shah Rukh and Kajol with iconic statue

DDLJ makes history: London to honour Shah Rukh and Kajol with iconic statue

In a historic first for Indian cinema, the timeless love story of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) is set to be immortalised in bronze at London’s famous Leicester Square. The statue, capturing the iconic pose of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol from the 1995 romantic classic, will become part of the prestigious Scenes in the Square movie trail—making DDLJ the first-ever Indian film to receive this honour.

Set to be unveiled this spring, the sculpture celebrates not only the film’s legacy but also marks the beginning of DDLJ’s 30th anniversary celebrations. The bronze tribute will be placed on the eastern terrace outside the Odeon Cinema, depicting the moment when Raj and Simran first cross paths in London—unaware of the love story that awaits them. The location, where the characters unknowingly pass each other, is symbolic for fans who cherish the film’s opening scenes.

Produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Aditya Chopra in his debut, DDLJ has become a cornerstone of Indian cinema, redefining the romantic genre for generations. Its impact continues to resonate deeply with global audiences, especially the five million-strong British South Asian community for whom the story is both nostalgic and culturally significant.

Mark Williams, Deputy Chief Executive of the Heart of London Business Alliance, praised the addition of Shah Rukh and Kajol to the trail, which already features iconic characters like Harry Potter, Mr. Bean, and Mary Poppins. “This statue is a fitting tribute to the global popularity of Bollywood and a celebration of London’s rich diversity,” he said, adding that it will draw fans from across the globe to the capital’s entertainment heart.

Akshaye Widhani, CEO of Yash Raj Films, expressed pride in the milestone: “It’s an honour for DDLJ to be the first Indian film represented in ‘Scenes in the Square’. This statue showcases the global love for our cinema and builds bridges between cultures through storytelling.”

Since its release in 1995, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge has enjoyed unparalleled success, becoming one of the longest-running films in Indian cinematic history. The upcoming statue is not just a tribute to a film—it’s a celebration of a cultural phenomenon that continues to inspire love stories around the world.

As DDLJ joins the ranks of global film greats in London, the statue of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol stands as a bronze symbol of Bollywood’s enduring charm and its place on the world stage.

  • Wait, what? Fans shocked as doctor reveals Neelam Muneer’s go-to skincare treatment

Wait, what? Fans shocked as doctor reveals Neelam Muneer’s go-to skincare treatment

Renowned actress Neelam Muneer, admired for her glowing skin and timeless beauty, has finally revealed her skincare secret — and it’s not what fans expected.

Having been in the spotlight since childhood, Neelam has won hearts with her talent and natural charm. Many have also wondered how she maintains such flawless skin, and Dr. Ambreen, a dermatologist who recently appeared on a talk show, has now lifted the veil on Neelam’s beauty routine.

According to Dr. Ambreen, Neelam is a firm believer in modern skincare rather than artificial enhancements. “She doesn’t need much — her beauty is already remarkable,” said Dr. Ambreen. “But there is one advanced treatment she absolutely loves: exosome therapy. In fact, that’s the reason she came to me. Neelam told me, ‘I’ve tried PRP many times, but now I really want to get this one done.’”

Exosome therapy, often considered one of the latest breakthroughs in cosmetic dermatology, involves using plasma extracted from a newborn’s placenta. When injected into the skin, it tightens, hydrates, and rejuvenates the face, visibly reducing fine lines and giving an instant youthful glow.

Described as both expensive and highly effective, the treatment is gaining popularity among celebrities for its immediate and long-lasting results.

Neelam’s recent wedding photos with her life partner have already caused a buzz online, and now her skincare revelation has only added to the admiration fans feel for her natural beauty.
