Amitabh’s granddaughter is going to court

Aaradhya Bachchan, the daughter of actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and granddaughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, has approached the Delhi High Court again, seeking the removal of fake videos about her health on YouTube and other websites.

According to Indian media reports, Aaradhya Bachchan, granddaughter of Bollywood legends Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, has approached the Delhi High Court to address the matter of false information.

In response to her plea, the Delhi High Court has issued notices to Google, Bollywood Times, and other online platforms. The next hearing is scheduled for March 17.

The action follows a ruling from April 2023, where the Delhi High Court directed Google to remove deceptive videos that falsely claimed Aaradhya was critically ill or had passed away.

Justice C Hari Shankar strongly condemned the content, stating that misleading information about a minor’s health is “entirely unacceptable in law” and that every child deserves dignity and respect.

Aaradhya, 13, is the only child of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, who married in 2007.

‘If you have a gun… I have a gun’: Gandapur quotes The Godfather during army chief meeting

Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur revealed on Samaa TV’s program last night that he quoted a line from the legendary movie The Godfather during his conversation with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Gen Asim Munir.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar and CM Gandapur confirmed on January 16 that they met with the Army Chief in Peshawar.

While discussing security issues with the COAS, CM KP quoted a phrase from The Godfather movie: “If you have a gun in your hand and I have a gun in my hand, so we can talk reasons.”

It merits a mention that The Godfather, a legendary 20th-century crime film about the Italian mafia, does not have such a quote.

However, in 2024, an AI-generated audio clip featuring the movie’s protagonist, Marlon Brando (who played the original Godfather), was released on social media, which had a somewhat similar quote.

The AI-generated audio follows as: “If you hold a gun and I hold a gun, we can talk about the law. If you hold a knife and I hold a knife, we can talk about rules. If you come empty-handed and I come empty-handed, we can talk about reason.”

Gandapur claims to have told the Army Chief, “We will have to be on board with many policy decisions, while we also need to review those policies that haven’t given us any benefits,” adding that the most significant problem in KP is that people have lost trust in the state. “We need to restore that trust.”

Interestingly, however, the Chief Minister of KP did not stop with the apparent movie references and went on to quote from Gladiator during his meeting with Gen Asim Munir.

“I used a quote from Gladiator, ‘If you want to win freedom, win the crowd’. That is what I told the Army Chief that to win this battle, they will have to win the crowd. Any person who knows the dynamics of this area knows what I am talking about. Without the public support in KP, terrorism can not be eliminated,” he said.

CM KP claimed that the Army Chief responded positively to his opinions and stated, “The Chief said that we should try our best, along with the federal government, to negotiate with the Afghan government. Just to be clear, I am not talking about negotiations with the terrorists, but rather with the Afghan government.”

Nadia Afgan considers THIS Indian actress her dear friend

Its clichéd to say so but truly, Indians and Pakistanis are divided by a border but joined by their cultural heritage.

Appearing as a guest on Suno To Sahi hosted by Hina Niazi, Nadia Afgan  opened up about working in Indian cinema and the strong friendship she shares with Indian actress Sonam Bajwa.

“If given a chance to work in Indian Punjabi movies, would you,” asked the host.

Nadia Afgan replied, “I have been given offers, I was offered a couple of times, but the timing was always off, and for some reason, I couldn’t go. Once, my father was ill, so I couldn’t go. But yes, I would definitely do it.”

The Radd actress also shared her admiration for Sonam Bajwa, calling her a friend and praising her work: “I really like Sonam Bajwa’s movies, she is my friend, I talk to her, she is amazing, wonderful.”

She explained that they stayed connected through social media and recalled how their friendship began.

“I remember when Suno Chanda had a clip with me once, I thanked them, and then our friendship started,” Nadia added.

When asked if she would accept an offer from India, the Kabuli Pulao actress replied, “Of course, I would, why wouldn’t I accept? I am an artist, I am an actor. If any country offers me a good role, why wouldn’t I accept it? There are no boundaries or borders in arts.”

Our ideal cross-border colab would star Fawad Khan, Sonam Bajwa and Nadia Afgan. Wouldn’t that be a treat for sore eyes?

Tan Man Neel O Neel: Twists of love, betrayal, and justice

Tan Man Neel O Neel continues to beautifully explore human emotions and relationships that everyone can relate to.

From Ehsaan’s jealousy and Mehnaaz’s timidity to Rabi’s bravery and outspokenness and Sonu’s role as the perfect partner—loving and respectful. Moon, a troubled soul seeking justice; Kami, the villain enjoying his victories; and Rao Kashif and Qaiser’s exploitation of others for their gain.

The drama is coming to an end soon, but the final decisions are yet to be made. Will Rabi and Sonu find happiness? Will Ehsaan face consequences? Why do Mehnaaz and Rabi have to suffer when they did nothing wrong?

The latest episode focused on Ehsaan and Mehnaaz, played by Nauman Masood and Nadia Afgan, who delivered incredible performances.

Mehnaaz demands justice from her husband and then apologises for making him cry.

Finally, she is stunned into silence by his latest revelation. Afgan’s performance as Mehnaaz was outstanding.

Masood portrays Ehsaan’s inner suffering as his heart breaks, shattering everything Mehnaaz holds dear. Together, they delivered a memorable scene that will stay with us.

Rao Kashif’s death at the hands of Qaiser was a well-executed scene. The camera angles, the final fall, and Kami’s sadistic pleasure created a dark, intense moment. Director Saife Hasan and writer Mustafa Afridi crafted a scene that many creators can be inspired by.

Despite the dark moments, the drama also highlights the sweet bond between Sonu and Rabi. They meet and exchange endearments, discovering why and when they fell in love.

The story sheds light on dance and music as legitimate career choices for young adults. Rabi’s mother questions Sonu’s career choice, but Rabi confidently responds that dance is his chosen path.

The drama keeps us curious about Kami’s next move and whether Qaiser will face justice. How will Rabi and Sonu stay safe from Kami? And will Ehsaan pay for his past deeds?

Tan Man Neel O Neel may be ending, but it still has a lot to keep us hooked.

  • Army has not received Imran Khan’s ‘letter to Gen Asim Munir’, says Wajahat Kazmi

Army has not received Imran Khan’s ‘letter to Gen Asim Munir’, says Wajahat Kazmi

Amid claims by the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan’s lawyer, Faisal Chaudhry, that Khan wrote a six-point letter to the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, journalist Wajahat Kazmi quoted security sources as saying that no such letter has been sent to them.

“Imran Khan, as party supremo and former premier, has written a six-point letter to the army chief, expressing solidarity with the military in its fight against terrorism, and acknowledging the sacrifices made by our soldiers,” Chaudhry said on Monday while speaking to media outside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.

Khan’s counsel had said that the letter brought to the army chief’s attention all cases of terrorism against political leaders and the use of force against PTI workers, adding that it also expressed concern over intelligence agencies’ operations and the country’s economy.

Chaudhry further maintained that Khan urged the army chief to reconsider policies and called for the formation of a judicial commission.

Kazmi took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, claiming, “Another failed attempt by Imran Khan to create a storm in a teacup. PTI is staging drama over a supposed letter to the Army Chief, but security sources confirm no such letter was received—nor will it be. The establishment has made it clear: talk to political parties, not them.”

PTI Chairman, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, while speaking to reporters outside Adiala Jail Rawalpindi, had stated that Imran Khan wrote a letter to General Syed Asim Munir. However, he did not confirm whether the letter was dispatched.

Gohar said that Imran, in his letter, touched upon some of the reasons that created the perceived gap between the establishment and the public, including the 2024 elections, the passage of the 26th Constitutional Amendment, and the recent controversial Peca Act.

Another journalist, Ammar Solangi, claimed that Imran Khan’s letter has not been dispatched to the army chief so far.

Solangi wrote in a post on X, “…. [Imran] Khan has asked Barrister Gohar to draft a letter to COAS. Neither the letter has been written nor dispatched so far.”

He further claimed that the jailed former premier has no access to writing material and, therefore, cannot write a letter by himself. “The fact is that he [Imran Khan] has asked his barristers to bring him a letter as per the themes given by him. While barrister Gohar agreed, Faisal Chaudhry [Imran Khan’s lawyer] wanted the tone to be sweetened,” he added.
