Ushna Shah has a funny bone and she usually showed it on social media.
The superstar was recently confronted with speculations of pregnancy, a weird rumor that started after she posted photos and videos on Instagram that made some of her followers think she might be expecting.
One fan even congratulated Shah, commenting, “Mashallah, she is expecting.”
However, Shah quickly cleared things up, saying that any appearance of a baby bump was just because of her tight dress. “It’s just the dress. I’ve worked hard to stay slim,” Shah explained. Ushna married golfer Hamza Amin last year. Shah’s recent straightforward clarification has ended rumors, showing her dedication to keeping in touch with fans on social media.

Pakistani cinema is set to showcase an exciting new film as actor Yasir Hussain’s directorial project, ‘Rabbit,’ gets ready for release. The eagerly awaited trailer was recently revealed on Yasir’s Instagram, creating excitement among fans and industry insiders.
In his post, the actor hinted about the film’s story, writing, “Coming out from the shadows, a mysterious figure arrives. He steals quietly, tricks cleverly, mimics your actions and wins skillfully. Watch out, because the rabbit is here.”
The film, starring Yasir Hussain, Nayyer Ejaz, and Umer Aalam, reunites the trio after their praised performances in the 2024 movie ‘Taxali Gate.’ The collaboration has increased anticipation for Rabbit, promising a strong mix of talent and chemistry.
The trailer starts with Nayyer delivering a chilling monologue: “If there’s doubt, you’ll lose the bet. But if you have faith, it will double your return.”
This sets a suspenseful and intriguing tone. The scene then shifts to Yasir, wearing a striking red turban, fitting perfectly into the rural village setting. The visuals are rich with fire-lit shots, promising a captivating drama that stands out from mainstream storytelling.
The imagery becomes more intense with scenes of villagers holding torches and walking through fields and mud houses at night. These shots suggest a tense community with a sense of foreboding. The stakes rise with a mysterious ritual involving a girl (Malaika) lying on the ground, surrounded by torches and blood splatter, hinting at darker themes.
As the trailer climaxes, Nayyer’s character is shown sitting on the ground in a menacing posture, ending with a spine-chilling scream that echoes ominously. From the trailer, Rabbit seems to be a film that aims to push the boundaries of Pakistani cinema, blending mystery, fantasy, and psychological thriller elements. While the release date is still unknown, the excitement for ‘Rabbit’ continues to grow.
Ever since whispers of ‘Na Baligh Afraad’ release started circulating, fans of ‘Na Maloom Afraad’ tried to guess what the new movie would be about. They wondered if it would be as funny as the first one or if it would be different. The makers hinted that the new movie might be geared more towards adults in their first post, which got fans talking. And when the teaser finally came out, it didn’t disappoint.
The movie seems to be set in the 90s, a time when people were thinking a lot about growing up. It sounds like it will be fun! Back then, people didn’t really understand what it meant to be an adult until they became one themselves. It looks like the movie will be all about the journey to adulthood.
Aashir Wajahat and Samar Abbas are popular with young fans, and seeing them together on screen will be exciting. Samar looks very different in his new look, and along with their funny conversations, Aashir is sure to make even more fans happy.
And let’s not forget about Aadi Adeal Amjad, who is really good at making people laugh.
Renowned actor Ushna Shah voiced her outrage against three animal abusers who callously threw a puppy from a balcony. The video of the three men went viral after Ayesha Chundrigar Foundation, an animal shelter, raised the issue. Shah stated, “They threw puppies down a balcony for pleasure… that’s serial killer behavior. Perhaps a gap in my vocabulary isn’t the worst thing.”
Following this, she posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying, “I am putting a 100k bounty on their heads: Help me find them. If any lawyer wants to take up this case pro bono and help keep them behind bars for the maximum amount of time (once they’re found), please get in touch. (Bounty is a rhetorical term. Don’t kill them, duh).”
She added, “I am personally offering a reward of 100,000 PKR. (50K per monster) to anyone who turns these two in. Once they are behind bars, the reward will be given personally to me in cash. As well as a meet and greet with the winner and their family. Spread the word and find these perpetrators.”

The puppy killers have been identified as Asad and Talat, and have not yet been arrested by the police. Asad is the primary suspect as he was the one recording the video and ordering a third person, Qasim (who has been arrested) to throw the puppy off the balcony.
Talat Khan was also involved in instructing Qasim to commit the same act.

Pakistani dramas have a huge fanbase at home and abroad, but lately, there’s been debate about the scripts. TV dramas still attract massive viewership, however, the endings can make or break the whole experience. Unfortunately, many recent dramas have left viewers disappointed with their conclusions, tarnishing their otherwise strong narratives.
Here are some popular Pakistani dramas that aired recently but disappointed viewers with unsatisfying endings.
Ishq Murshid
‘Ishq Murshid,’ a hugely successful drama, faced a similar fate with its ending. The storyline, centered around Shibra and Shahmeer, started off promising but ended in confusion. The rushed wedding and the addition of another cultural ceremony felt unnecessary. Shahmeer’s character, portrayed as a killer in the end, lacked development and failed to contribute positively. Meanwhile, Shibra’s naivety, despite knowing she was marrying a politician, seemed unrealistic. The drama, which initially had a strong plot, concluded poorly, leaving viewers puzzled. Despite this, the makers profited from cinema screenings.
Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha
‘Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha’ starred Wahaj Ali from ‘Tere Bin’ and Hania Aamir from ‘Mere Humsafar.’ It aimed to be a love story featuring Kaifi Khalil’s famous song, ‘Kahani Suno.’ However, despite high hopes, the chemistry between the leads never clicked with the audience. The drama ended suddenly, with Hania accepting Wahaj’s love, while Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz found himself in another controversy caused by his cousin, leaving viewers puzzled.
Namak Haaram
The drama promised us a thrilling murder mystery and a tale of revenge, starring the popular duo Imran Ashraf and Sarah Khan. However, what unfolded was disappointing. By the fifth or sixth episode, the plot became predictable, with unnecessary characters hogging too much screen time. In the end, the hero was killed without achieving anything significant. The heroine, on the other hand, fell into a deep depression, living a life in servant quarters and raising her child alone. It was a letdown for the audience, wasting their time and energy.
Mein
‘Mein’ was a highly anticipated drama, boasting a big budget and starring Ayeza Khan and Wahaj Ali. However, the outcome was disappointing. Despite having Ayeza and Wahaj as leads, the focus shifted to Asif Uncle’s character, overshadowing the hero. The ending was unsatisfactory, with no character finding happiness. Wahaj Ali’s character was portrayed as foolish and lacking control over life’s circumstances. It was a letdown for viewers who expected more from the drama.
Tere Bin
‘Tere Bin’ was a huge hit among Pakistani dramas, thanks to the amazing chemistry between Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali. However, the ending left much to be desired. The original story involved Meerab experiencing marital rape and leaving her husband, Murtasim, eventually giving birth to their daughter. However, due to public pressure, the makers changed this plot. Unfortunately, this decision left the story feeling disjointed, with Meerab’s actions seeming illogical. Despite its success, many viewers were unhappy with how the drama ended, feeling that the sensitive issue of marital rape was mishandled.
