So, are these two beloved stars really taking their friendship to the next level?

According to sources, the two stars are set to get married on February 22, with the ceremony taking place in Karachi.

Gohar Rasheed fueled these rumours with an Instagram video. The video shows both actors at a house with friends, tea, samosas, and a cute dog, captioned “2025 Bismillah.”

The buzz intensified when Gohar Rasheed posted another video with the caption, ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai,’ adding to the curiosity.

‘You’re full of sh*t’; Indian comedian trolls Israelis

Indian stand-up comedian Sundeep Bhardwaj has been the target of Israeli trolls after he joked about the country. Since then, the stand up comedian has become a vocal advocate for Gaza and Palestine, using humour to highlight Israeli atrocities.

In a recent Instagram video, he responded to an Israeli trolls, sparking a debate about travel restrictions.

The exchange began when Instagram user Roie Liven commented on a post, saying, “Well, you are in the Maldives so you are full of sh*t. Israelis aren’t allowed to enter Maldives or other Muslim countries way before October 7. The funny part is that you can go to Israel, and eat and enjoy. I can’t go to Morocco, as I will either be denied entrance or killed by Islam. So again, Israelis aren’t allowed into the Maldives, from like 1997 or something, so you are full of sh*t again.”

Bhardwaj, known for his sharp wit and bold commentary, didn’t hold back in his response. The comedian sarcastically addressed the comment, stating:

“You are full of sh*t. Israelis are not allowed to enter the Maldives. Oh no, you are not allowed in the Maldives? Maybe you should stop killing people all around the world. Maybe that will help. But, one more reason to love the Maldives.”

He added, “The problem is that Israelis always have a second passport. Or actually, a first passport. So they can travel to a lot of places where they shouldn’t be allowed to. So who’s full of sh*t now, huh?”

Bhardwaj ended his roast with a cutting remark: “Oh, one more thing. I think you misspelled Occupied Palestine as Israel or something.”

Shine on, Sundeep, you’re doing an excellent job.

  • Gen Z romance meets social justice: Tan Man Neel O Neel stands out

Gen Z romance meets social justice: Tan Man Neel O Neel stands out

If you thought dramas were all about love triangles and family feuds, Tan Man Neel O Neel is here to shatter your expectations—with mob chases, life lessons, and a love story sweeter than your chai.

Tan Man Neel O Neel delivers a blend of subtle and direct messages. It tackles difficult topics like the trauma and challenges men face after experiencing and reporting sexual assault. The show also explores the social media presence of young girls and the beginnings of a wholesome relationship that might develop into love. For now, it’s all about building a healthy, strong bond.

The story highlights how politicians can be ruthless, using someone’s tragedy for their benefit. Poor Moon is caught between Rao and Qaiser, who both exploit him. He was promised anonymity, but even after his name was revealed, he showed the courage to continue so that others don’t suffer like him.

“48 hours mein report kerna thee, jo mein ney nahin keraai.”

The drama educates us about the flaws in the system that might not serve sexual assault victims well. Sonu’s mother plays a key role, reminding Moon that he should not feel ashamed of what happened to him because he did nothing wrong.

“Meray paas hajoom hai, aur hajoom ko kisi saboot ki zaroorat nahin pardhtee.”

Kami’s chilling dialogues highlight the dangers of mob mentality in society, a real-life issue that has led to many tragic incidents.

Rabi and Sonu’s relationship wins our hearts with its purity and honesty. Their bond grows stronger over time, based on mutual respect and understanding. The drama shows how a relationship built on these values can be both fun and endearing.

The plot twist connecting Rabi with Luddo and his mother adds an interesting angle. How will Ahsaan react when he sees Rabi wearing that shawl? The way Rabi’s mom deflected her sister-in-law’s wedding plans for Rabi was also a delightful scene.

  • Murder, mystery, and messes: Qarz-e-Jaan’s latest episode keeps fans guessing

Murder, mystery, and messes: Qarz-e-Jaan’s latest episode keeps fans guessing

Qarz-e-Jaan is serving us everything—murder mysteries, emotional rollercoasters, and characters who just can’t seem to stay out of trouble! At this rate, we’re half expecting a family pet to turn out to be the real mastermind.

The recent episode of Qarz e Jaan leaves us with burning questions: Did Ammar kill Maheen before joining the family for lunch? Nashwa seems conflicted, saying: “Maheen is dead, so are the differences between myself and Ammar,” but then she opens her heart to Burhan and lights up when he talks about reopening the case.

No matter how much Bakhtiyar tries to cover for Ammar, he continues to create bigger messes. Ammar or his friends likely killed Maheen to ensure she never threatens him again. This act has led Burhan to reopen the case, which was almost closed before Maheen’s death. Are we naive to think Bakhtiyar is incapable of murder?

Is Burhan Asim’s son? Or is there more to the story that will unfold as the drama progresses? The script also highlights how society, and especially a widow’s family, imposes unfair restrictions on her and judges her life choices. The conversation between Nashwa and Bisma about wearing the necklace was poignant and underscores how Bisma feels she doesn’t have the right to live a full life anymore, just because she is a widow.

Does Burhan genuinely not know who Nashwa is? Is this all part of a greater plan, or is he truly starting to develop feelings for her?

We expected Nashwa to hold Bakhtiyar accountable for what happened to Maheen, but she remained quiet and called Burhan instead. Maybe Burhan’s lectures about controlling her emotions are finally paying off, leading Nashwa to adopt a more measured approach rather than reacting impulsively.

It’s a relief that the drama doesn’t portray the entire family as heartless. While Bakhtiyar and dadi might be ruthless, the mother, Sidra, shows some conscience. She wants Ammar to be punished and to learn a lesson, though even she doesn’t do much to make him realize his wrongdoings.

Qarz e Jaan has its ups and downs. Some episodes are very strong, while others test your patience.

  • Twists, tensions, and unanswered questions: Aye Ishq-e-Junoon keeps viewers hooked

Twists, tensions, and unanswered questions: Aye Ishq-e-Junoon keeps viewers hooked

Drama nights are like mystery boxes—you never know if you’ll get shocking twists, heartfelt moments, or just an excuse to yell at your TV.

The latest episode of Aye Ishq-e-Junoon has us all on the edge of our seats. Rahim has been openly challenging Afia, taunting her in front of Ali Nawaz. But is he wise? And will Farooq eventually have to pick a side?

Rahim is determined to ensure no one comes between him and his father. He has made his intentions clear to Farooq.

Usually, long conversations can be boring, but this episode had a few that held our interest. The conversation between Rahim and Maheen’s father Mir Zulfiqar was engaging. Also, the chat between Afia and Rahim when she brought him coffee was intriguing.

The big question is whether Rahim will go to any extent and compromise his own values to regain his father’s respect and take his revenge.

“Rahim Ali Nawaz ne kabhi asaani se dushmani nahi ki, lekin aapka waqar aur aapka ikhlaq dekh kar soch raha hun dil khol kar aapki dushmani qubool karun…”

This dialogue heightened the tension, making us curious about how Rahim will retaliate against Mir Zulfiqar.

“Sastay shouq to mainay kabhi paalay bhi nahi, Maheen ko hee dekh lijiye”.
This dialogue was problematic, especially since Rahim had just claimed he still respected Maheen.

Mir Zulfiqar’s lawyer is trying to get Aimen to admit that Rahim is the killer. It seems everyone believes Rahim is the culprit, but they need solid proof to nail the case against him.

Farooq is trying to keep both sides happy, but as the case heats up, he might have to pick a side. His conversation with Afia made us question his loyalty. Will he prioritize making Ali Nawaz happy and saving his sister, or Ali Nawaz is confusing us. He believes Rahim is the culprit but masterminded his release from jail. Why did he ignore Rahim when he came back home and why is he not talking to him properly?

Shuja Asad is being underutilized as Shehroze. There is not much development in his story, which is a shame given his talent.

Does no one know about Aimen’s memory loss? Maybe Rahim suspects this, which is why he asked Farooq not to target Aimen. He also said that Aimen and he were the only ones who lost in this ordeal. Jamal knows for sure about Aimen’s memory loss, but why does she keep believing him and why is her father not questioning Jamal about his accusations?

EXCLUSIVE: Identity of Neelam Muneer’s husband revealed

The internet is curious to know about the identity of Neelam Muneer’s husband ever since the actress started posting her wedding pictures on Friday.

Amid a flood of claims regarding his name and profession, The Current brings you exclusive details of who the groom is.

According to sources, Neelam’s husband is Mohammad Rashid, who works as an officer of Dubai Police’s Crime Investigation Department.

Earlier, the first pictures of Neelam’s Nikah, featuring her husband, went viral on social media after being shared by celebrity photographer Abdul Samad Zia. He captioned the photos, “With this New Year, starting a ‘new chapter’ of their life, remember them in your prayers!”

For the ceremony in Dubai, Neelam looked stunning in an all-white ensemble by local design house Baroque, paired with pearl jewelry and dewy glam makeup by Rabia Anum’s team. Her groom matched perfectly in his traditional Arabic dress, jubbah.

In the photos making rounds on social media, the ‘Chakkar’ actor was seen with her husband for the first time, posing with the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, in the background. However, any details about the groom were not revealed.

Thousands of social media users liked the viral photos of the new couple and extended their heartfelt wishes to them.

For those who didn’t know, rumors about Neelam’s marriage began in November. She confirmed it earlier this week, sharing glimpses from her intimate Mayoun night and mentioning that, “All the wedding festivities have just started.”

The picture of the couple’s Nikah ceremony had also led to unconfirmed reports claiming that Rashid was a “billionaire businessman” based in Dubai.

  • ‘Qarz-e-Jaan’: An emotional rollercoaster to keep you hooked

‘Qarz-e-Jaan’: An emotional rollercoaster to keep you hooked

Some dramas give you tea but ‘Qarz-e-Jaan’ serves you an entire buffet full of twists, emotions and jaw-dropping moments that will have you questioning everyone’s intentions — including your own!

The drama features Yumna Zaidi, Usama Khan, Nameer Khan, Aniqa Zulfiqar, Faisal Rehman, Deepak Parwani, Tazeen Hussain, Daniyal Aamir, Sakina Samo, Salma Asim, Ismat Zaidi, Fajr Sheikh, Tabassum Arif, and Mubassir Khan. Written by Rabia Razzak, directed by Saqib Khan and produced by Momina Duraid, it airs on HUM TV every Saturday.

‘Qarz-e-Jaan’ isn’t your typical drama about a sexual assault survivor seeking justice. It goes deeper, showing complex characters like Bakhtiyar and Ammar, who are smart and not to be underestimated.

Nashwa, on the other hand, represents people who want to stand up against wrongdoings but feel frustrated and helpless in face of harsh realities.

Here’s a crash course for you on the latest episode…

Nashwa: The emotional yet brave character remains a bit naive and trusts her family despite their flaws.

Bakhtiyar: Cleverly manipulates the situation, challenging Nashwa to prove Ammar’s wrongdoings.

Maheen: Unexpectedly withdraws her case, leaving Nashwa in a tough spot.

Nashwa finds a friend and ally in Burhan, whom she confides in. While their relationship offers hope and support, Nashwa’s character development continues as the story progresses.

She, however, struggles with her family’s reality and is slapped by her grandmother after confronting them about Ammar.

The drama continues to show how society reacts to a girl’s honour, highlighting how restrictive and unforgiving it can be as Maheen feels like a criminal despite being the victim. She is also silenced by threats of video leaks.

The show continues to explore whether Maheen’s claims are true, adding complexity to the story but highlighting the flawed approach of doubting the victim.

We just can’t wait for the next episode!

  • Tan Man Neel O Neel turns into a journey of secrets, surprises, and real relationships

Tan Man Neel O Neel turns into a journey of secrets, surprises, and real relationships

Some dramas leave you guessing, but Tan Man Neel O Neel takes it to the next level with surprise twists, real talent, and a whole lot of family drama—so much so, that you might start wondering if your own family has some hidden secrets too!

Tan Man Neel O Neel is shaking things up in Pakistani drama by showing singers, dancers, and musicians who might not be very famous, but have a small setup to show their talent and make a living. The latest episode had a big surprise about Rabi’s father, Ahsaan, and Sonu’s mother.

The story has become more exciting and complicated. Questions arise about whether Rabi’s father is connected to Sonu’s mother, and if he is Luddo’s father (Sonu’s Phuppo’s husband). Or is he helping Luddo and his mother because of past guilt? Did he kill Sonu’s father, Shaukat?

Rabi and Sonu’s relationship is a highlight of the show. Their scenes change the mood, making you smile and laugh. Their relationship is honest and straightforward. Rabi asks Sonu to support her in her plan to escape Kami’s proposal, and Sonu agrees after thinking about it. Their honest intentions for each other make their relationship refreshing and real.

Rabi singing while Sonu records the video was a beautiful scene, and the song is going to be added to our playlist. The show nicely shows how raw talent like Rabi’s can find a platform from the grassroots level. The trust and support between Rabi and Sonu shines as a positive example of relationships on screen.

Luddo’s character sends clear messages about inclusivity and acceptance. While Sonu and his mother accept and love Luddo, Rabi will take her time to adjust. The show highlights the sad reality of how people with differences are often kept safe at home due to a lack of awareness about how to interact with them.

There are some concerns about the characters’ actions. Did Qaiser plan the call to show the policeman he has no power, or was he genuinely waiting for the lawyer? Qaiser proves he is not to be messed with, but will the policeman accept this or retaliate? Should Rabi mess with Kami? He is not easily fooled.

The drama highlights how sharing talent on social media is becoming the new norm. Rabi’s mother is okay with her posting videos online. The show reflects the reality of many social media success stories inspiring young people like Rabi, but also shows the risks of spending time on something that might not work out.

  • Chaos at Dallas event: Hania Aamir faces backlash amid allegations of unprofessionalism

Chaos at Dallas event: Hania Aamir faces backlash amid allegations of unprofessionalism

The drama at celebrity meet-and-greets often rivals a prime-time soap opera — and Hania Aamir’s Dallas event was no exception.

After the meet-and-greet ended abruptly, an event organizer criticized the actress and her manager Maida Azmat for their behavior.

Some fan videos showed people saying, “She just walked away from here; we paid for this.”

Earlier, Hania Aamir had a meet-and-greet event in Canada, which coincided with the premiere of the last episode of Kabhi Kabhi Tumka. She did not attend the premiere and went to Canada to meet her fans instead.

After this incident, Canada-based heavenlyentertainments event organizers also claimed that similar issues had occurred during a previous event in Canada, alleging that Aamir did not fulfill her commitments and caused delays. According to the organizer, Aamir was “enjoying events outside while neglecting her responsibilities and causing stress for the team.” They further described her attitude as “unprofessional and disrespectful,” citing several specific issues.

The organizer alleged that “Hania Aamir did not spend the committed time at a single event” and “intentionally delayed her appearance on stage by sitting in the car.” Despite being “paid a significant amount,” she allegedly failed to engage with the organizers and instead “attended external events and enjoyed herself at the organizers’ expense.”

They also accused her of “smiling for the public while giving the organizers a hard time backstage.” Additionally, the organizer mentioned that her visa was about to expire, a fact that Aamir and her manager reportedly failed to disclose until the last moment, causing “additional financial burdens and stress.”

The organizer expressed sympathy for the team behind the Dallas event, stating that they faced similar challenges, including refunding attendees and managing unexpected logistical issues.

    Sadaf Haider’s Statement

Sadaf Haider, a blogger and culture commentator based in Dallas, commented on the incident, stating:

“I don’t usually comment on such foolish incidents, but this has become a scandal because of the way Hania Aamir and her (mis) manager Maida Azmat have pushed a deceitful narrative. I have spoken to multiple sources attending the event both backstage and in the audience. No assault, verbal or physical, occurred. Hania and Maida are using the language of feminism as a cudgel to cover their bad behavior and threaten promoters. Many things happen on tour – that is between you and your promoter (who, by the way, spent $50,000 on this tour). Do not punish your fans who paid good money to see you.”

Sadaf haider criticized the lack of response from Fahad Mustafa, who was present at the event with Hania Aamir.

Sadiq Saleem, a journalist, shared his thoughts on the issue, posting on Instagram:

“Manager: noun. Definition: The one who ruins careers: a self-proclaimed media and PR guru specializing in turning potential leads into missed opportunities, one bad decision at a time.”

    Hania Aamir’s Response

Hania Aamir responded to the situation in a detailed Instagram story, explaining that she left the Dallas event early because an event organizer verbally abused her and her manager, Maida Azmat.

Aamir emphasized her love and respect for her fans and expressed regret over the event’s sudden end. She stated:

“Everyone saw videos of me walking to the crowd and taking pictures, and everything was fine. When I was going back to my seat, I heard one of the organizers verbally abuse my manager. So, I walked up to her and asked what had happened, and told the man (one of the organizers) that he cannot speak to her like this. She was so distraught that she went backstage. I followed her to make sure she was okay and Fahad [Mustafa] being a gentleman also came to check up on her.”

Backstage, Aamir and her co-stars started taking pictures with fans. However, she claimed that the organizer chased after them, allegedly calling them names and telling them to leave the premises.

“[He] called off the security protocols and verbally assaulted us even more (people had to hold him back). We were rushed out by our promoter Arif Khan to not further escalate anything and we managed a personal means of transport to get back safely to the hotel.”

Aamir highlighted the importance of respect and the right of women in male-dominated fields to stand up for themselves. She added:

“Thirdly, we as a fraternity put in a lot of effort to make our fans happy. And such people with their theatrics are mostly trying to paint us black. I don’t know, maybe it does something for their ego. But promoters/organizers need to step up and make sure such clowns don’t ruin the events and the experience for the fans and the artists.”

Aamir also called on media outlets to be responsible with their journalism and avoid leveling allegations against artists without facts. She apologized to her fans, saying:
“Last but not the least, I would like to apologize to every single one of you who came. And I dearly love every single one of you. I am sorry things had to end this way. Just have to get through with the bad days I guess.”

    Support from the Entertainment Industry

Soon after Aamir’s statement, she received overwhelming support from the entertainment fraternity, with many decrying the disrespect she faced.

Fellow actor Yashma Gill praised Aamir and Azmat for handling the situation professionally and bravely.

Actor Maya Ali condemned the disrespect and expressed pride in Aamir for her graceful handling of the situation.

Internet personality Umer Khan, known as Ukhano, emphasized that no one should have the right to disrespect the stars.

Actor and musician Azaan Sami Khan stated that artists were being unfairly blamed without understanding the complete context.

Radio personality Anoushey Ashraf highlighted the importance of respect and condemned the disrespect shown towards Aamir.

Filmmaker Nabeel Qureshi pointed out that such issues with promoters have always existed, resulting in most artists and fans suffering.

Fashion stylist Aarinda Noor stressed that no one had the right to disrespect anyone and emphasized the importance of responsibility.

Despite the controversy, Aamir’s co-star Fahad Mustafa has not yet commented on the situation.

  • A daughter’s courage and a mother’s struggle: Qarz-e-Jaan delivers a powerful message

    A daughter’s courage and a mother’s struggle: Qarz-e-Jaan delivers a powerful message

The story takes an intriguing twist as Nashwa remains unaware that Bakhtiyar has planned her marriage to Ammar. The big question now is, how will he convince Nashwa to agree to this marriage?

Kudos to the team for addressing and normalizing daughters encouraging a second marriage for their single mothers. For Nashwa, it seemed like the natural step, and she was puzzled why it hadn’t happened sooner. The narrative blends religious and cultural perspectives to present a convincing viewpoint.

One dialogue that could have been more considerate was Nashwa’s remark to her mother: “Aap bewa ho kar baith gayeen?” Becoming a widow wasn’t a choice, and this line felt a bit odd.

While Nashwa shows courage, Bisma seems resigned to her life in her in-laws’ home. Instead of considering an independent life after Nashwa’s graduation, Bisma focuses on getting her married. Nashwa’s response was heartfelt, as she understands her mother’s struggles. Nashwa’s marriage would leave Bisma at Bakhtiyar’s mercy, which she refuses to allow.

Burhan’s unprofessional question about Maheen’s truthfulness and a possible revenge motive was inappropriate. A lawyer should consult documents before making such claims. The medical report and Maheen’s condition clearly indicate she was assaulted. Burhan should have reviewed these details to strengthen the case instead of doubting Maheen’s story.

The mystery deepens as questions arise about Ammar’s whereabouts. Asad and Beenish’s marriage faces potential trouble, with Asad’s mother suspicious of Ammar’s family’s calm response to the accusations.

The drama also highlights Daadi’s manipulative tactics and regressive thinking, such as believing a widow is a bad omen. This adds depth to the storyline, showing the challenges Bisma faces.

Bakhtiyar’s police friend, despite agreeing to help, senses Ammar might be guilty and tries to let the investigation continue. The drama depicts how the elite often cover up their family members’ wrongdoings.

Qarz e Jaan features an impressive cast, including Yumna Zaidi, Usama Khan, Nameer Khan, Aniqa Zulfiqar, Faisal Rehman, Deepak Parwani, Tazeen Hussain, Daniyal Aamir, Sakina Samo, Salma Asim, Ismat Zaidi, Fajr Sheikh, Tabassum Arif, and Mubassir Khan. Written by Rabia Razzak, directed by Saqib Khan, and produced by Momina Duraid, it airs on HUM TV every Saturday.
