Atif Aslam’s hilarious waterfall reel sparks laughter and mixed reactions online

Pakistan’s star singer Atif Aslam surprised his fans with another playful and hilarious Instagram reel that quickly went viral. Filmed at a waterfall in the northern areas, the singer showed a funnier side of himself that many fans hadn’t seen before.

In the reel, Atif acts as though he’s sending a voice message to his friends. He laughs loudly and says: “Bro, I told you it’s an amazing place, the water is absolutely fantastic, and you should have been here.” He then adds, “Ahhhh, shit, yar gaya hi nahi, phir bhjta hoon,” indicating that the voice note was not sent.

He then tries again with even more energy: “Bro, I told you there are so many amazing places to visit here, and the food is also great. The food is really good. You should have been here.” But the voice note still doesn’t get sent, and he responds, “Ahhh, shit, yar gaya hi nahi, phir bhjta hoon.”

Finally, laughing even louder, he says, “Bro, I told you this place is amazing, the people are great, and the water is awesome. But you should have been here to experience it all.” On his third failed attempt at sending the voicenote, the singer gives up, saying, “Now forget it—ahhh, ya gaya nahi, chhorho.”

Atif captioned the reel, “Your laughing voice note doesn’t send on the first try…”

    The internet exploded with reactions.

On Instagram, fans showered him with love and said:

“We love new Atif ❤️❤️ مَا شَآءَاَلّٰلہ Allah bless you and thank you for giving us a smile.”

    “The struggle is real.”

    “Ahahahah legit!”

But Twitter had mixed vibes. While many found the reel entertaining, others were surprised by this new side of Atif:

“Atif Aslam’s Instagram reels just keep getting better every day.”

    “I’m loving Atif Aslam reels.”

But some critics chimed in, saying, “If I can just give Atif Aslam an advice: please stop wearing ugly branded clothing and stop with those nonsense reels.”

Another added, “Atif Aslam making reels on IG—unreal downfall.”

    Others reacted:

“Jab se Atif Aslam ne Insta reels banana shuru ki thein, tb hi smjh gayi thi isko paise ki dikkat hai pr itni dikkat hai, yeh nai socha tha.”

“What kind of midlife crisis is he going through?”

Despite the criticism, Atif doesn’t seem bothered. Soon after, he posted another update from the same location, this time with his friends, standing in a peaceful lake surrounded by stunning nature. The caption read: “Mujhe tairna he nahi ata.”

The place looked straight out of a dream—calm waters, fresh air, and Atif Aslam simply enjoying the moment.

Whether netizens love the new vibe or not, one thing is clear: Atif Aslam isn’t afraid to laugh at himself and bring some much-needed smiles to the timeline.

  • Black magic, demons abound in Pakistani horror film ‘Deemak’ trailer

Black magic, demons abound in Pakistani horror film ‘Deemak’ trailer

Pakistani cinema is finally diving deep into horror again—and this time, it’s seriously committed to scaring you.

Deemak (Termite) isn’t just another scary movie. It’s a psychological supernatural thriller that looks and feels intense and genuinely creepy.

Directed by Rafay Rashdi (yes, the one behind Badshah Begum and The Java Plum Tree) and written by Ayesha Muzaffar (author of Abus Jinns and Jinnistan), Deemak explores a toxic mother-in-law vs. daughter-in-law relationship, with a scary twist: their home is slowly being taken over by something… not from this world.

This project is being produced under Wah Wah Productions, with Syed Murad Ali as the executive producer. He’s a horror fan himself and has finally turned his passion into a full-fledged cinematic experience.

The cast? Iconic. We’re talking Faysal Quraishi, Sonya Hussyn, Samina Peerzada, Javed Sheikh, and Bushra Ansari—legends who know how to deliver performances that hit hard.

The trailer honestly gave me goosebumps. That one scene where something crawls near the bedroom ceiling and she suddenly lifts the bed? Chilling. And instead of water, the kitchen tap is dripping blood. Like, what?! I haven’t been this excited for a Pakistani movie in ages.

The story revolves around a normal house becoming a living nightmare as paranormal events grow stronger. It’s not just jump scares—there’s emotional depth too. The son is caught in a disturbing tug-of-war between his wife and his mother, with the horror of demons creeping into every corner of their lives.

What’s really cool is that this film is rooted in local folklore, especially our own stories about Jinns. The team has tried to blend that with psychological horror in a very Pakistani way.

The director shared that Deemak was originally an idea called Yaqeen—something he dreamt of almost six years ago. With Ayesha Muzaffar onboard, it turned into a layered horror drama that’s as much about emotional trauma as it is about the supernatural.

Horror movies in Pakistan have been rare but interesting. We had Zinda Laash back in 1967 (our version of Dracula!), and later came Zibahkhana in 2007, which made waves internationally. More recently, In Flames even made it to Cannes! And now, Deemak might just be our next big horror milestone.

Its releasing this Eid ul Adha (June 6), and fans are already hyped. People are absolutely loving the trailer. Just check out these comments:

“Wow, let’s go! Is cheez ka hi to wait tha. Amazing trailer. I am waiting!”

“Nice trailer. Pakistan mein bhi achi movies ban rahi hain, top level ki. This is our talent!”

“Wonderful performance by everyone  Wishing everyone all the best and especially Faysal Quraishi. So excited to see him on our big screen. Bahut sari duaen ”

“We are so excited for #Deemak!”

“Faysal Quraishi special Deemak movie trailer – super excellent, and especially the horror story – wonderful and super king!”

    “Bro it looks insane!”

  • Kaifi Khalil, Tulsi Kumar’s love song ‘Fitrat’ is going to be your new favourite

Kaifi Khalil, Tulsi Kumar’s love song ‘Fitrat’ is going to be your new favourite

‘Fitrat’ is not just a song, it’s an emotional journey that touches the soul. Sung by the talented Kaifi Khalil and Tulsi Kumar, this heartfelt track is filled with raw emotions, deep lyrics, and the kind of sadness that stays with you long after the music ends. It speaks to anyone who has ever loved deeply, lost painfully, and still remembers beautifully.

The video stars Sehar Khan, and she looks stunning in every scene. Her dressing in the video is simple yet elegant and she carries it with grace.

One scene that truly stood out to me was when Sehar puts kajal in her eyes. It perfectly matches the emotional line: “Tum mere naam ka kajal bahar do.” That moment gave me goosebumps, a silent but powerful way of showing heartbreak.

Another line that touched my heart was when Kaifi Khalil sings, “Sada hoon, brands pasand nahi, mere pe paisa zaya mat karna.” It’s honest, raw, and beautifully real just like the entire song.

Fitrat is more than a collaboration it’s a powerful message. It reminds us that if you truly love someone, don’t hide it. And don’t stay in a relationship just to please others. Because in the end, you’re not only hurting yourself, but also the one you’re with and the one you truly love.

The release of Fitrat has received love across borders, with many calling it the best musical bond between India and Pakistan in ages. One user wrote, “Sehar, you’re looking absolutely stunning! All the best for this beautiful venture.”

The haunting melody, touching lyrics, and emotional visuals come together to create something unforgettable.

With this track, Kaifi Khalil, Tulsi Kumar, and Sehar Khan have proven that music can truly speak to the heart no matter where you are.

  • ‘Ugly piece of sh*t’: Bollywood’s Ibrahim Ali Khan threatens Pakistani fan for reviewing ‘lousy’ debut film

‘Ugly piece of sh*t’: Bollywood’s Ibrahim Ali Khan threatens Pakistani fan for reviewing ‘lousy’ debut film

Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of renowned Indian actor Saif Ali Khan, has allegedly threatened and abused a London-based Pakistani fan over the latter’s review of his debut film, Nadaaniyan, which was termed as a “never-ending loop of bad decisions, poor writing and absurd storytelling” by critics.

The 2025 Hindi-language teen romantic comedy, directed by Shauna Gautam and produced by Karan Johar, was released on March 7. However, the film was not very well-received, scoring just 17% on Rotten Tomatoes and a low 3.2/10 on IMDb.

“What a lousy useless terrible film,” wrote user Taimooriqbal12 in his Instagram story, tagging Netflix India and Ibrahim. He went on to suggest Ibrahim got a “nose job” and “learnt some acting” instead of “ruining his father’s reputation”.

“My fast is hurting even more,” added Taimoor in his March 7 post.

On Thursday, the social media user shared a screenshot of the response he had received from Ibrahim over his Instagram story. “Tamur almost like Taimur… almost like my brother’s name. Guess what you don’t have? His face. You ugly piece of trash. Since you can’t keep your words to yourself, don’t bother — they’re irrelevant, just like you,” wrote the actor.

He went on to call Taimoor an “ugly piece of sh*t” and further wrote, “I feel bad for you and your family. And if I see you on the streets one day, I’ll make sure I leave you uglier than you already are, you walking piece of sc*m.”

Taimoor, however, seemed to take the situation rather lightly. “Hahahahahaha, that’s my man! This is the guy I want to see in the movie, not that fake Cornetto mushy cringy human. But hey, yes, that nose job comment was in bad taste,” he said in response to Ibrahim’s message, as per a screenshot of the chat.

“The rest, I totally own up to. Massive fan of your dad. Don’t let him down,” he added.

In conversation with The Current, Taimoor revealed that Ibrahim had blocked him on Instagram following the exchange.

“I don’t feel intimidated or threatened… rather shocked,” the occasional movie critic added, explaining that he was surprised how his “random critique” had caught the debutant’s attention.

Taimoor went on to say that Ibrahim’s reaction could be rooted in the movie’s reception and widespread criticism surrounding nepotism allegations in the Indian film industry. “Maybe he is upset… and that’s fine.”

On criticism surrounding the “nose job” comment, he said it was in bad taste and he would soon be uploading a video apologizing for it.

Neither Ibrahim nor his father Saif Ali Khan, who is rather active on social media, has publicly addressed the controversy.

  • King Charles lands Apple show as Meghan’s Netflix series faces harsh reviews

King Charles lands Apple show as Meghan’s Netflix series faces harsh reviews

Apple Music has announced the launch of a special music program, ‘The King’s Music Room,’ personally curated by His Majesty King Charles III. The show celebrates music from across the Commonwealth and offers a rare insight into the King’s diverse musical taste.

The program will premiere on Apple Music 1 on March 10 at 6 a.m. GMT, with additional broadcasts on Monday and Tuesday on Apple Music 1 and Apple Music Hits.

Recorded at Buckingham Palace, the playlist features a mix of 1930s classics, Afrobeats, reggae, and disco, showcasing the King’s appreciation for a variety of global sounds.

Marking Commonwealth Day, the King also shares personal stories about meeting musicians and the significance of certain tracks. He remarked, “Music has the remarkable ability to bring back memories, provide comfort, and lift our spirits—especially when it unites us in celebration.”

The playlist includes icons like Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue, and Grace Jones, alongside modern artists such as Davido and RAYE.

Rachel Newman, Apple Music’s global head of Content and Editorial, called it an “honour” to share the King’s selections with listeners worldwide.

The show will be available for free on Apple Music 1 and can also be streamed on demand with an Apple Music subscription.

While a trailer for King Charles’ show garnered applause online for its unique musical perspective, his estranged daughter-in-law’s Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, is struggling with harsh reviews.

The Duchess of Sussex recently announced that the show had been renewed for a second season just days after its debut. However, the series—centered around Meghan’s lifestyle, including cooking, beekeeping, and event hosting—has received a lukewarm response from viewers.

While some fans found it “soothing” and “a peaceful escape,” others labeled it “boring” and “self-indulgent.” One viewer sarcastically wrote, “This show is as exciting as watching paint dry.”

Critics were even more merciless. Vulture said that the show “pioneers new frontiers in unreliability.” The Daily Beast’s Kevin Fallon said that he needed a lobotomy after watching the show. In a scratching review, Slate wrote that she should have remained a Royal, calling the show “eye-rolling”.

Despite the mixed feedback, Netflix has greenlit another season, with filming reportedly completed. However, speculation remains about the future of Meghan and Harry’s $100 million Netflix deal, which is set to expire later this year.
