AliGul Pir trolled Priyanka Chopra’s outfit from this year’s MET Gala with a very specific caption.
Famous comedian and rapper took to Instagram to post a picture with the caption “When you’re done venting”. As per reports, Ali has used this caption to recall the sarcasm that Priyanka used in her reply to the journalist.
It must be recalled that when Pakistani-American journalist Ayesha Malikaskedthe actor for her support for the Indian Armed Forces alleged aerial strikes in Pakistan, the actor said that she would respond when Malik was done venting. She then said, “don’t yell girl, don’t embarrass yourself”.

Exhibit C – A selfie with Danish after he makes millions
The shoot for Fahad Mustafa’s upcoming film Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, in which he will be sharing the screen with Mahira Khan for the first time, has begun before time and both the leads are sharing behind the scenes snippets from the sets.
Fahad shared a video of himself practising his action stunts. The actor can be seen doing a backflip before going into an attack position.

Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad will be directed by Nabeel Qureshi and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza. The duo have previously delivered hits including Load Wedding and Actor in Law – both of which had Fahad in the lead.
Speaking to The Current, Nabeel had shared that the film will be a satirical action-comedy – something along the lines of their previous film Actor in Law.
The film will mostly be shot in Karachi and is expected to release in 2020 on Eid ul Azha.
What is Hamza Ali Abbasi really upto? The actor toldthe world that he is quitting the entertainment industry to follow his spiritual journey, but his friends are saying that he will soon directing a film.
In a recent interview, Hamza’s close friend and colleague, Humayun Saeed revealed that the former actor will be donning the director’s hat and will be directing a patriotic film.
“Hamza was thinking about becoming a scholar for a quite some time and had started studying to be one,” Humayun said, adding, “Actually he has decided to leave showbiz for a certain period of time. In future, he would do characters that are more towards patriotism and spirituality.”
“Besides, he is coming into direction. I have planned a film on the subject of nationalism which will be directed by Hamza. Everything is almost done except deciding the name of project,” he shared further.
In November 2019, Hamza had announced that he will be quitting acting to focus on religion, his relationship with Allah and to spread the message of Islam.
“I had this divine revelation some time back, that all that I am doing in this world will end the moment I die. All these trophies, all these accolades will not bring me any good on the day of judgment when I meet my Maker. I have decided that I want to leave everything that might be a hurdle when it comes to making my matters easier on the day of Judgment.”
At the same time, Hamza had said that though he will be quitting acting, he will continue to make videos and use his voice and popularity to spread the message of Islam and inspire others to undertake this spiritual journey.
“My perspective of life has changed since I realised that I have to meet my God. With this realisation, what I decided to do is that I now wish to talk to people. I wish to spread the message.”
Hamza had asserted that making movies is not haraam, adding that he might even consider making movies that are not vulgar and propagate the message of peace and patriotism.
And looks like the actor is doing just that.

Who needs Bollywood dance songs when we’ve got Abrarul Haq. After Billo, Abrar has given us another wedding jam, though to be honest, it doesn’t quite match up. But then again, Billo is iconic.
Abrar’s latest song Chamkeeli featuring Mehwish Hayat and Shahveer Jafry as the bride and groom on their wedding day is fun, lively and gives out energetic happy vibes.
Chamkeeli is picturised on a strong, empowered woman, played by Mehwish who knows what she wants on her wedding day. Mehwish looks every bit the rockstar bride in a bright, red gharara and sunglasses in some of the shots. Shahveer plays the shy groom.
Some fans speculated that the video shows an older woman marrying a younger boy and praised Abrar for choosing a progressive topic as the backdrop of his video.
And what’s even more interesting is that Mehwish has also sung a few lines of the song.
A performance artist shook up the crowd at the Art Basel show in Miami Beach on Saturday when he grabbed a banana that had been duct-taped to a gallery wall and ate it.
What’s interesting is that the banana was, in fact, a work of art by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan titled “Comedian” and sold to a French collector for $120,000.
In a video posted on his Instagram account, David Datuna, who describes himself as a Georgian-born American artist living in New York, walks up to the banana and pulls it off the wall with the duct tape attached.
“Art performance … hungry artist,” he said, as he peeled the fruit and took a bite. “Thank you, very good.”

Datuna’s action left some bystanders in fits. Soon after, a flustered gallery official took him in for custody. Luckily the matter was resolved amicably and no legal action was planned against him.
As it turns out, the value of the work is in the certificate of authenticity – the banana is meant to be replaced.
A replacement banana was taped to the wall about 15 minutes after Datuna’s stunt.

The moment we were all waiting for. There were rumours that Kubra Khan was going to play Shehwar’s (Adnan Siddiqui) wife who he has a terrible marriage with, but the episode ends with the entry of Maham, Shehwar’s domineering wife played perfectly by Savera Nadeem. Maham, a towering figure enters the episode and slaps Mehwish (Ayeza Khan) as she introduces herself to her about-to-become sautan.

The episode does have some difficult to understand situations. How did Shehwar suddenly decide to marry Mehwish after he had so adamantly said that marriage ruined love? There’s no explanation about his change of heart. And why is Roomi, Danish’s son, so fixated on getting his father married to Hania (Hira Mani)? The obsession stems from the fact that Danish obviously doesn’t want to get married and he will marry Hania because his son wants him to. Otherwise he wouldn’t be the true lover of love that he has been projected to be so far.

There’s also the concept of fake and real friends that plays into this episode. Danish is lucky to have a friend who is helping him with his work, staff that is helping him with his life. His life has literally changed in days and as he says to his friend, “log jubh aapse subh kuch cheen layte hain tou khush hojao, kyuinke Khuda tumhe sub kuch deyne wala hai,” (when people take everything from you, be happy. Because God is about to give you everything) and it seems like Danish is about to get everything.

But Mehwish is made of some strong stuff too. She doesn’t look or feel embarrassed when her friend Anoushey asks her about leaving her husband and child to have an affair with a married man. She takes it in stride and doesn’t pay any attention to the rumours (that are bound to be true) about Shehwar having forged his wife’s signatures and living in a house in her name.
Mehwish doesn’t care at all about what people think of her
Maham will take over the next episode and it’s going to be a brilliant one. With the already strong presence that Savera Nadeem exudes, she is the perfect person to play a woman who is not to be messed with. The only character that is still very weak is that of Hania. Hira Mani is playing the role like a dheemibeychari and compared to the other strong female characters, she’s coming across as not having a clue. Here’s to hoping that the writer didn’t have a beychari in mind for Danish and Hania develops into a character strong enough to take on the memory of Mehwish.
Lahore-born Zanib Naveed — crowned Miss Pakistan World in 2012 — was killed when her car hit a pavement and overturned into oncoming traffic, The New York Post has reported, citing police sources from Pomona, a village in Rockland County, New York state.
According to the police, the 32-year-old was driving when she attempted to take a curve to another road, but her car struck a pavement and flipped over.
She was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Naveed graduated from Pace University in 2011 before going on to compete in the Miss Pakistan World pageant, which was held in Toronto, Canada. On August 24, 2012, she became the 10th person to win the pageant’s title.
She then went on to represent Pakistan in the 2012 Miss Earth pageant in the Philippines, which is the third-largest pageant after Miss World and Miss Universe.
Her Facebook account lists her as the President of the Miss Pakistan USA organisation.
She is survived by her parents, her brothers and her husband, Ali-Haider Shah, who took to social media to express his grief.

British Pakistani showbiz reporter Asjad Nazir, who founded the list and compiles it annually, shared the news on his Twitter account. The list is based on votes from fans around the world.
At number seven, Bilal was the only Pakistani to feature on the top 10 list based on votes from fans around the world. Hrithik Roshan topped the list followed by Shahid Kapoor (2), Tiger Shroff (4), Zayn Malik (5), Harshad Chopda (6), Bilal (7), Mohsin Khan (8), Virat Kohli (9), and South Indian superstar Prabhas (10).
Speaking to the local media, the 39-year-old shared that he was surprised by the news and felt “beyond humbled.”
“I am beyond humbled to be featured as part of a list among such legendary gentlemen and that, year on year, has generated so much attention globally. This has come to me as an amazing surprise and such moments make the struggle and commitment we all put into our work all worth the while. Bilal latest and most recent project was Superstar, with Mahira Khan, which propelled him into the spotlight and established him as an actor who is here to stay.
Meanwhile, Bilal, in an exclusive video with The Current, revealed how he achieved those abs, which contributed towards his sexiness.
“I think the first thing is to eat healthy. You are what you eat,” said the 39-year old. “If you eat clean, eat in moderation, apart from the occasional cheat meal [you’re good to go].”
