Lahore cop caught raping beggar; shoots man to flee

A uniformed policeman was caught raping a woman who was begging in the Manawan area on the outskirts of Lahore.

Upon being caught in the act, the policeman opened fire, injuring a citizen named Sajid who filmed the incident.

Locals then overpowered the policeman and handed him over to Manawan police while Sajid was transported to a hospital for medical treatment of his injury.

A video, allegedly of the incident, has surfaced online in which the policeman can clearly be seen in a barren spot at night, standing above an elderly woman who is not wearing a shalwar, while he himself is not wearing shoes or pants.

When the citizen catches him, the policeman initially throws a shoe at him before opening fire. The shot hits Sajid in the leg. He screams and then shows his leg, covered in blood, on the camera.

The policeman tries to quickly put on his shoes and run away but Sajid persists, following him despite the injury.

The policeman has been identified as Amjad. Police are investigating.

  • ‘Will wait for Rakhi Sawant at airport,’ says Hania Aamir

‘Will wait for Rakhi Sawant at airport,’ says Hania Aamir

Actress Hania Aamir has agreed to host Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant if she visits Pakistan.

Hania Aamir and other actors attended an event in London this weekend, where Pakistani cricketer Saim Ayub was also present.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, Hania said that she would wait for Rakhi Sawant at the airport if she was to visit.

When asked if Rakhi invited her to India, the actress said that she would definitely go.

Another reporter asked, “What is the secret to your beauty and vitality?” To this, the actress replied, “Just be happy.”

In response to a question about becoming famous and working in India, Hania said that no such plan exists yet, but if one were available, she would definitely provide an update.

Previously, Bollywood’s favourite drama queen declared that she would move to Pakistan if TikTok was not unbanned in India; she has now jokingly claimed to have “arrived” in Lahore.

In a now-viral clip, Rakhi could be seen surrounded by a mountain of suitcases, dramatically announcing, “Look at this! I have brought so many bags from India to stay in Pakistan. I am standing in Lahore, at Lahore airport. Hania, I have come to meet you and stay with you!”

“I have left Bollywood and India to work in the Pakistani industry. Hania, clear out your wardrobes because all my bags are now in your house!” she added.

But that wasn’t all. Expressing her disappointment over the lack of a grand welcome, she hilariously complained, “Oh, people of Lahore, what are you doing? You were supposed to feed me Halwa Puri! No one came to pick me up!”

Just when the internet thought the excitement was over, another video surfaced of Rakhi, now supposedly near Lahore’s PC Hotel, dramatically stating, “I am in Lahore. People of Pakistan, I am tired! Now, who is coming to pick me up?”

To add to the theatrics, Rakhi made a fake call to Hania, saying, “Hania, where are you? I waited at the airport for two hours! Now I am at PC Hotel. Are you coming to pick me up? And whoever wants to meet me, come to Lahore. I’m here!”

And in true Rakhi style, she wasn’t done with her demands: “Where is Wasim Akram? Bring him too! Because Wasim Akram said, ‘Rakhi, whenever you come to Pakistan, we will welcome you.’”

At this point, Pakistanis on social media were thoroughly entertained, with many jokingly offering to deliver her long-awaited halwa puri.

When asked about his kids’ reactions to the shocking incident, the actor revealed that Jeh gifted him a plastic sword and said, “Keep this by your bed for the next time the chor [thief] comes.”

“Taimur is a little concerned about security. Sara was very emotional and so was Ibrahim… more than he normally is. He was there and has been spending a lot of time with me. The accused, Shariful Islam Shehzad, told cops that he scaled the wall to enter the compound of the 12-floor building the actor lives in.

The security guards, according to reports, were asleep and the intruder used air-conditioning ducts to enter the actor’s home.

A viral screen grab from the CCTV cameras installed at the fire exit showed the intruder fleeing the scene following the attack.

Indian influencer calls Mawra’s dress ‘tacky’?

Pakistani stylist Zahra Sarfraz did not hold back in responding, calling Sufi “tacky” for his limited appreciation of fashion.

She also took the opportunity to educate the Indian influencer and his followers on the sentimental value behind Mawra’s wedding attire. She explained that the Sanam Teri Kasam actor had built her entire bridal look around her mother-in-law’s dupatta.

‘One more millimeter and….. paralysis’; Saif Ali Khan opens up about attack

Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan has opened up about the stabbing attack that left him hospitalised after an intruder entered his home on January 16, leading to a violent confrontation.

The A-lister told an Indian publication that he and his wife Kareena Kapoor were sleeping in their room when a member of the house staff came running inside to warm them of an intruder in their younger son Jeh’s room.

Saif said that the attacker was wielding two knives and demanding money. When Saif attempted to subdue him, he retaliated by repeatedly stabbing the actor. “I couldn’t handle it after a while as there were two knives in action. I was praying that someone could get this guy off me,” Saif stated.

Finally the nanny Geeta managed to pull him back and then the two locked the attacker in Jeh’s room. However, he managed to escape from there.

Since no driver was available at the time, Saif took a rickshaw to reach Lelavati Hospital along with a house help named Hari and his young son Taimoor.

Inside the rickshaw, Taimoor, who had insisted on coming along, asked, “Are you going to die?” Saif replied, “No.”

At the hospital, the Nawab was told that his injuries were far more serious than he thought. Doctors told him that one knife had punctured his shoulder blade and come dangerously close to the spinal cord. “It came really close to being paralyzed. One more millimeter, and we’d be talking paralysis,” the actor narrated.

The star was surprised at the attacker missing his jugular, despite landing a knife on his neck: “I don’t understand how he missed my carotid artery and jugular vein… it’s not possible to cut somebody’s neck the way my neck is cut and not kill them.”

The Nawab of Pataudi said that though the attack left him with “30 of the most awful” scars, he was relieved that the attack had not left him with more serious injuries.

Policeman arrested for aerial firing on his wedding after child dies of bullet wound

A policeman suspected of aerial firing on his wedding has been arrested along with his companions after a young child was killed on Sunday by a stray bullet in Lyari’s Musa Lane.

Karachi police have confirmed to local media that the groom, Aftab Ahmad, is a police constable posted in the office of the Police Chief. He has now been charged in the case along with seven other suspects and four unknown individuals.

Initial reports suggest that Aftab and his friends indulged in aerial firing in the Police Quarters near Docks Police Station. SMGs, 9 mm pistols and 30-bore rifles were allegedly used in the aerial firing to celebrate Aftab’s marriage.

Police have said that the point where the men were firing into the air and the spot where the child was hit were separated by a distance of just one kilometer.

Hayat Fatima was inside her eighth floor apartment when the bullet hit her on the head. She was rushed to the Civil Hospital in Karachi where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police are working to investigate whether the guns used at Aftab’s wedding match the bullet that killed the child.
